On a trip to southern Virginia I was walking around for something to paint,
when I ran into these shadows (cows) among the trees, keeping quite cool in the
summer heat. I loved the interaction of shadows and light, which had to be
quickly recorded because the cows kept moving around. This is a knife painting.
