National Cathedral - Washington, DC 16" x 20"

This painting was done in three separate sittings at the National Cathedral. The light was quite different at each sitting and I finally had to settle with this atmospheric rendering. Rick Weaver liked the mixture of the cool colors in the trees and bushes against the sunlit areas of the cathedral.
