Canyon Lands National Park, Utah 14" x 20"

This painting was done in about 4 hours en plein air on a morning in June. By the time I completed most of it, the temperatures exceeded 100 degrees and I had to wait to finish it in my studio. Ross Merryl considered this to be one of my best earlier paintings.
