Shelby and Best Friend 12" x 16" Vienna Arts Society Annual Show August 2000

The little girl depicted was killed in a jumping event with this pony. Because we knew the family well, we were severely moved by this tragedy. I gave one portrait to the family and kept this one myself. Although the colors portray the tragedy, nothing can destroy the love between these best friends.
